VITELLO TONNATO
Veal with tuna sauce or Vitel Tunč is not French, but it is a typical Piedmont dish. Many towns claim the invention of the dish, among all stand out Alba and Garessio.
The Vitel Tunč is the classic Piedmont starter, simple, elegant and tasty. At the base of the dish there is the rod calf of Piedmont Fassone, perfectly cooked to get slightly pink thin slices. Everything is served cold, accompanied by a delicate tuna sauce.
